ABS as it is popularly known in the field of Professional Education refers to Academy of Business Studies (Pvt.) Limited formerly at No.102, Thimbirigasyaya Road, Colombo 05 presently at its State of the Art Lecture Environment located at No.39 Bullers Road, Colombo 04. This innovative student oriented, high tech driven Professional Education Centre. ABS began its operations in 1995 with 60 students and today boasts of a student population of more than 12,000 students for a given year.

Ten years of tremendous growth is attributed to the Dedicated and Unmatched Panel of lecturers together with flexible and innovative thinking of the management of ABS.

Year 2005 brings a fundamental yet necessary change at ABS for the organizations next step in its progression towards supreme excellence. This transformation though seems sudden was felt essential for considerable period of time for the betterment of students, lecturers, and all its stakeholders including CIMA-UK, CIM-UK and other Educational Bodies. The new management comprising two dynamic individuals in the nature of M.S.Abdul Asees and K.Wasantha S.Fernando are confident and possess necessary vision, aptitude, skills and most importantly the discipline required to drive ABS from what it was to what it should be.
